Garlic Butter Hibachi Wings
Rich, buttery, and loaded with roasted garlic β finished on a screaming-hot hibachi grill for that perfect char.
- 2 lbs chicken wings, split
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt, pepper, sesame seeds to garnish
- 2 scallions, sliced
- Pat wings dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a pan, sautΓ© garlic until golden and fragrant (2 min).
- Add soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil. Simmer 1 minute. Set aside.
- Preheat hibachi grill or grill pan to 450Β°F.
- Grill wings 8β10 min per side, basting with garlic butter every 3 min.
- Apply final glaze in last 2 minutes. Rest 5 min before serving.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced scallions.
